Thank you for your interest in Girls on the Run programming for the Spring 2024 season.
Girls on the Run of Southeastern Connecticut engages in a lottery based online registration system to ensure a fair and equal process for all girls. All girls registering during the first week of registration (Monday, February 12th - Sunday, February 18th) will be entered into a lottery. If there are a greater number of registrants than the maximum allowed per team (team sizes vary by site), a lottery will be run to fill all available spots.
Families will receive notification by the end of the day on Monday, February 19th letting them know if their girl has received a spot through the lottery. All remaining registrants after the lottery is run on Monday, February 19th will be placed on a waitlist and will be contacted by GOTRSECT. Registration will reopen on a first-come, first-served basis for any spots remaining after the lottery registration period.
