Current Season Details

Thank you for your interest in Girls on the Run programming for the Spring 2026 season. Lottery registration will open on Monday, February 9th and will be open for one week. The season will begin the week of February 23rd.

Girls on the Run of Southeastern Connecticut engages in a lottery based online registration system to ensure a fair and equal process for all girls. All girls registering during the first week of registration will be entered into a lottery. If there are a greater number of registrants than the maximum allowed per team (team sizes vary by site), a lottery will be run to fill all available spots.

Families will receive notification letting them know if their girl has received a spot through the lottery. All remaining registrants after the lottery is run will be placed on a waitlist and will be contacted by GOTRSECT. Registration will reopen on a first-come, first-served basis for any spots remaining after the lottery registration period.

Questions? Please contact the site liaison at your school/site or contact Zhane Adams, Program Coordinator, at zhane.adams@girlsontherun.org. Thanks!
